Located in the Peidmont of South Carolina, Gypsy Moon Farm is in it's 4th year of breeding and showing Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. After two years of breeding what I liked, I found that this was not giving me a consistant kid crop. I finally took some good advice and started line breeding. This year I  have kids that are similar in body type. I may not win consistantly in the ring yet but I now have does that I can be proud to take in the ring even if I don't win.  My goats are tested yearly for CAE and Brucellosis. They receive routine vaccinations, de-worming and copper bolus treatments. Almost the entire herd is shaved in the summer. The picture you see is where the main doe herd lives, they have pasture and rocks were moved in for their entertainment. I have a heated barn for kidding in winter.The animals recieve any medical care that is need at any time. Any animal that dies of unknown causes goes to Clemson Research Facility in Columbia, SC for a Necropsy.
