Sales Policy
I do not accept cash reservations for kids. I will take request for kids. At the time of kidding, I will contact those with request and offer any kid that I am not retaining.
No goat will be sold as "show quality". While I try to breed goats from the best herds possible, I am only 5 years into raising and do not have the ability to determine if a certain goat will do well in the show ring. If you plan to show, I will sell you something that I myself would show, if available.
A non-refundable deposit of $50 will be required to hold a goat. If for any reason after the deposit is made the goat becomes sick, injured or I decide to retain the goat, the deposit can be used for another goat or I a refund.. No bottle babies will be sold unless they are already on a bottle for some reason. No refund on bottle babies that die. If an adult doe/buck dies within one month of purchase, I will replace him/her with a suitable animal or refund the money,as long as I am provided with a copy of NECROPSY . No reufnd will be made if the goat dies from the owners neglect to provide treatment or reasonable care.
If you change your mind, the deposit will not be refunded.
A discount will be given for multiple purchases. For beginner herds, purchasers of 2 does will be given a free buck kid if available, my choice.
Once the deposit is made the goat must be picked up in a reasonable time not to exceed one month or arraingements for boarding must be made. If no arraingements are made the deposit will be retained and the goat will be placed on the sales list.
Please quarantine any animal, no matter how healthy they look. I have had pink eye and sore mouth at times over the years. I have never had any CL abscesses, I test yearly for CAE and Brucelosis and randomly test for TB and Johnes. I will not knowingly sell you an animal with any of these diseases, but please take precautions, I do show and there is always the possibility of bringing home some unwelcome guest.
